I am quite desperate to own an Eames Rocker. Matt Blatt have replicas for $125 but (let's face it) you get what you pay for and I can be kind of a snob about these things.

Couldnt agree more.. on both accounts.. i LOVE these.. and the Matt Blatt ripoffs are cheap and light and total crap.. except if you upgrade to a 'fibreglass' shell, then they are nice, better made, heavy, more 'real'..but then for the price of those you are better off getting the real thing... EF
ReplyDeletei went and looked at these on the herman miller site (the authentic... i think :) and it cost upwards of $600. wow. dream ruined :'(
