pause

Dear blog,

I haven't forgotten you, we've just had the pause button on.

Delays are the most annoying thing about renovations. For the first few days you feel relieved to come home and find the house as you left it, no new piles of dust or mess to clean up. After a few weeks you grow to miss the chaos.

We should have new floors upstairs by now but due to some kind of timber kiln crisis the estimated date for their laying has been stretched out. Maybe it will happen this week?
