{proposed future} birthday gift to myself?

I am quite desperate to own an Eames Rocker. Matt Blatt have replicas for $125 but (let's face it) you get what you pay for and I can be kind of a snob about these things.

    Couldnt agree more.. on both accounts.. i LOVE these.. and the Matt Blatt ripoffs are cheap and light and total crap.. except if you upgrade to a 'fibreglass' shell, then they are nice, better made, heavy, more 'real'..but then for the price of those you are better off getting the real thing... EF

    i went and looked at these on the herman miller site (the authentic... i think :) and it cost upwards of $600. wow. dream ruined :'(
